Even in the middle of the messes you make, you, like Saul, can build an altar to the Lord and acknowledge his preeminence in your life. Know that God is still "speaking" even when silence is his response to your prayers.

Elder Coker begins in Numbers 21 where Aaron has just died and the Israelites were discouraged. What do we do when we get discouraged? If we shift our perspective to Jesus and what awaits us in Eternity, we can be encouraged and lay hold on eternal life today!

Elder Josh Coker takes us to John 3:16 and shows us how this verse is a declaration about rather than an invitation to those who are believing in Christ.

Elder Dickie Halbgewachs begins in 2 Peter 3 and encourages us to look forward to the last day, the day of the Lord, when the King will say as recorded in Matthew 25:34, "Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."

In Philippians 2:1-9, Pastor Josh Coker shows us that we should think of ourselves less and others more.

In Genesis 3:14-15, we read about the results of Adam and Eve's transgression. Imagine the weight they felt after their fall, having actually been perfect, unlike any of us. What gave them hope and what gives us strength to go on today is the promise that Christ will prevail!

Join Pastor Melvin in 1 Samuel 14:24 where Saul makes a rule forbidding eating until the evening instead of celebrating the victory over the Philistines that God had given Israel that very day. Legalism, adhering to rules in fear of instead of out of love for the law giver, takes the honey out of holiness.
